Shah Rukh Khan to fly to the US for undergo urgent eye treatment

Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar and co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), recently experienced a series of health issues that have concerned fans and the entertainment industry alike. On May 21, while attending an Indian Premier League (IPL) match in Ahmedabad, Shah Rukh suffered from severe dehydration and was subsequently hospitalized. He was discharged the following day after receiving treatment.

Unfortunately, Shah Rukh’s health challenges didn’t end there. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, he is now facing problems with his eyes. On Monday, July 29, he visited a hospital in Mumbai for an eye treatment, which reportedly did not go as planned. Consequently, it has been decided that he will fly to the USA on Tuesday, July 30, for further medical attention to rectify the issue.

Despite these health setbacks, Shah Rukh Khan has continued to be a supportive figure for his team, KKR, who recently entered their fourth IPL final and eventually won the tournament. His longtime friend and KKR co-owner, Juhi Chawla, provided updates on his condition, reassuring fans that he was feeling better after his initial hospitalization.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh was last seen in the film “Dunki” (2023) and is reportedly working on Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming project, “King.” Fans and well-wishers hope for his speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back in action soon.

On the other hand Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has made a notable real estate purchase in Delhi’s upscale Panchsheel Park. According to documents accessed by the Economic Times, Aryan acquired two floors in a building where Shah Rukh and his wife, Gauri Khan, already own the basement and ground floor. The transaction, completed in May 2024, amounted to Rs 37 crore, with Aryan paying Rs 2.64 crore in stamp duty.

This purchase is significant as it underscores the Khan family’s connection to Delhi, Shah Rukh Khan’s hometown. While it is uncommon for Bollywood celebrities to invest in properties in Delhi, Shah Rukh’s ties to the city make this investment noteworthy. Pradeep Prajapati, founder of Wealthvisory Capital, highlighted the rarity of such high-value transactions by Bollywood stars in Delhi, mentioning that the last notable sale was by Amitabh Bachchan, who sold his Gulmohar Park property for around Rs 23 crore.

Aryan Khan’s acquisition of property in the same building where his parents lived during their early days adds a personal touch to this investment, reflecting the family’s ongoing connection to the city.
