Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par, a spiritual sequel to the beloved Taare Zameen Par (2007), is already one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The spotlight shines on Shariva Parulkar, who was interning with Aamir Khan during Laal Singh Chaddha and the early stages of Sitaare Zameen Par. During a visit to Chennai, Shariva stepped in for a scratch recording of the song when no playback singer was available. But what was meant to be temporary turned into a life-changing opportunity. Moved by her heartfelt vocals, Aamir Khan and director R. S. Prasanna decided to retain her version for the final track, making her debut opposite Arijit Singh.
