Bollywood’s much-anticipated movie, Sky Force, featuring Akshay Kumar and newcomer Veer Pahariya, finally got its theatrical release on January 24, 2025. To celebrate this special occasion, Akshay took to Instagram to share two stunning stills of himself as KC Ahuja in the film and wrote a heartfelt post expressing his pride and excitement.
The post read: “Today is the day! Sky Force soars into theaters, and I could not be prouder to bring this wonderful untold story to life. It is beyond a movie; a tribute to real heroes who defend our skies with bravery and honor. This is a tale of patriotism, sacrifice, and resilience. May it touch you as it has touched us. See you at the cinema.”

Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and produced by Jio Studios and Maddock Films, Sky Force recounts the true story of Squadron Leader Devayya and the display of valor by the Indian Air Force during the 1965 Indo-Pak war. Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya play Indian Air Force pilots; Sara Ali Khan plays the role of the late soldier’s wife. Veer Pahariya, hailed Akshay Kumar.
He said Akshay is a “secure actor” and a mentor for newcomers. Akshay also rang in on what Veer said, saying: “Log darte hain 2 hero, 3 hero film karne mein. Unhe lagta hai unka 19, dusre ka role 20 hai.”. I have even gone to the extent of telling the other actor to choose the role he wants. Just do it, man!
