The much-anticipated teaser for Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, has finally dropped, promising a unique blend of romance and horror. The teaser opens with a heartwarming romance between the leads but quickly takes a dark turn, hinting at supernatural chaos.

Meet the Characters
Ayushmann plays Alok, described as “Insaaniyat ki aakhri umeed” (the last ray of humanity). Rashmika steps into the role of Tadaka, the “Roshni ki pehli kiran” (first ray of light), suggesting her character brings hope amid darkness. Their chemistry sets the stage for a haunting love story.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui makes a chilling appearance as Yakshasan, “Andhere ka Badshah” (King of Darkness), adding intensity to the eerie narrative. Paresh Rawal joins the ensemble as Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal, a man who “finds tragedy in comedy”, injecting dark humour into the story.

Rashmika on Her Challenging Role
Speaking to The Nog Magazine, Rashmika revealed the film tested her like never before. “I thought I had seen it all. Then Thama came and I realized — nope, wasn’t ready for that,” she said. “This film might just change how people see me.”
