Tiger Shroff’s surprising endorsement: Joining the ‘Vimal Cinematic Universe’

Surrogate advertising for products like cigarettes, tobacco, and alcohol has long been a topic of debate. Celebrities, including Bollywood stars, have frequently promoted pan masalas, a practice known as the “Vimal Cinematic Universe.” Tiger Shroff, a prominent youth icon, has now joined this controversial group, appearing in a recent pan masala ad alongside veterans Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan.

The ad, which has sparked concern, features Ajay and Shah Rukh stuck in traffic, with the latter suggesting they start using ‘Vimal Elaichi’. The scene then shows the product being showered everywhere, turning the surroundings ‘kesariya’. Tiger makes a dramatic entrance, and Amyra Dastur is also part of the campaign. Shah Rukh and Ajay invite Tiger to join them in their car, which has raised eyebrows given Tiger’s fitness icon status.

Known for his dedication to Mixed Martial Arts and gymnastics, Tiger’s endorsement of pan masala products seems out of character. His influence on Gen-Z fans may inadvertently promote unhealthy habits, and social media could amplify this impact. The question remains: why would a health-conscious celebrity like Tiger choose to promote products that contradict his image?
