They implied that Pitt had used his power to manipulate the situation and shift blame onto Jolie, specifically when it came to the relationship with their children. However, a source close to Brad Pitt said this is far from the truth. According to the source, it is Jolie who has been on a pattern of “one-sided attacks” for the past eight years. They have accused her of distorting facts and causing collateral damage to those around them.
Apart from the personal issues, Jolie and Pitt are also involved in a different case regarding their French winery. In October 2021, Pitt filed a lawsuit against Jolie, accusing her of violating an agreement since she sold her share of the winery to a third party for $67 million, complicating the end of their marriage.
