Actress Song Da-eun has once again found herself in the middle of dating rumors involving a K-pop idol and many believe the mystery man could be BTS member Jimin. The speculation, which initially surfaced in 2022 and 2023, had died down after Song dismissed the rumors. However, a recent viral clip and online forum posts have reignited curiosity.
Song Da-eun Opens Up in Live Video
In a live video, Da-eun claimed she is currently dating a male idol and addressed the stress it has brought to her and her family. She said fans of her alleged boyfriend have hurled hate at her, accusing her of “stealing” him. Visibly upset, she issued a stern warning to those harassing her.

“Just because the idol you love loves me doesn’t mean I deserve to be hated. Stop coming at me. You seriously have no idea what I might expose if I lose my temper,” she said, adding that she would not hesitate to take legal action.
Is Jimin the Idol in Question?
While Song did not name the idol, a post on online community Nate Pann reignited speculation, linking the statement to Jimin, as he is the only idol she’s previously been rumored to date. The post also referenced a strange call she received with numbers that allegedly matched her boyfriend’s birthday a detail fans found suspiciously aligned with Jimin’s. Still, Da-eun neither confirmed nor denied the connection.

BTS Members Nearing Military Discharge
Meanwhile, Jimin is currently serving in the South Korean military and is expected to be discharged later this month. Other BTS members RM, V, Jungkook, and Suga are also completing service, while Jin and J-Hope have already returned. Fans are now eagerly awaiting the full group’s reunion.
