Kelly Osbourne stuns at National Television Awards after opening up about scary weight loss

Kelly Osbourne attended the 2026 National Television Awards in London days after opening up about her weight loss, grief and struggles following Ozzy’s death.

Kelly Osbourne made a striking appearance at the National Television Awards 2026 in London on Tuesday, just days after speaking openly about her recent weight loss and the difficult period she has been going through. The TV personality arrived at the O2 Arena wearing a bold blue and brown tartan off the shoulder gown designed by Vivienne Westwood. She completed the look with layered necklaces, drop earrings and her blond hair pulled back into a neat bun. Her dramatic makeup included bright blue eyeshadow that matched the colour of her dress.

Kelly, 41, attended the awards ceremony to support the BBC documentary “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home.” The documentary was nominated in the Authored Documentary category, although it ultimately lost the award to “Our Girls: The Southport Families.” The Osbourne documentary was filmed over three years and followed the family during the period leading up to Ozzy Osbourne’s death in July 2025. Kelly brought her close friend Bradley Riches as her date for the event.

Speaking to Metro on the red carpet, Kelly talked about the support she has received from the public while dealing with her weight loss and the death of her father. She said it was difficult to grieve someone she loved while also having to deal with public judgment about the way she was coping. Kelly said she was grateful for the people who showed her kindness, love and support during such a painful time.

Kelly also revealed that she has not watched the BBC documentary because it is still too painful for her. However, she said she was honoured that the project received a nomination. She thanked the viewers who voted for the documentary and said their support made them part of the Osbourne family’s story. Kelly also praised the BBC for treating her father with care and respect while filming the project.

The TV personality has previously spoken about how deeply Ozzy’s death affected her. She recently revealed that she wore a wig at the 2026 Grammy Awards in February because she wanted to hide how much weight she had lost. Kelly said she was in a very difficult emotional state following her father’s death and described herself as feeling like a broken person.

Kelly has since shared a more positive update about her recovery. Last month, she said she was getting better and receiving the help and support she needed. She also acknowledged that recovering from such a difficult period would take time and would not happen after just one therapy session.

Despite the challenges she has faced, Kelly’s appearance at the National Television Awards showed her continuing to move forward. While the evening was focused on celebrating television, it also became another important moment for Kelly as she continues to deal with grief, rebuild her strength and honour the memory of her father.
