Sydney Sweeney is entering the realm of video game adaptations with her newest job in the live-action movie Split Fiction. The up-and-coming Hollywood star has been officially cast as the female lead in the film based on the hit video game of the same name. Continuing to add to her growing resume, Sweeney will also be producing the project, highlighting her increased presence both in front of and behind the camera.
The movie will be helmed by Crazy Rich Asians and Wicked director Jon M. Chu, who has proven himself capable of balancing spectacle and heart. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, writers of Deadpool and Zombieland, are writing the script, suggesting a tone that could balance action, comedy, and stylized narrative.
