Benny Blanco’s Five Day Pizza Experiment Ends With Unexpected Weight Loss

Benny Blanco ate only a large thin crust Domino’s pizza each day for five days and claimed he lost 4.7 pounds, dropping from 152.2 to 147.5 pounds.

Benny Blanco recently tried an unusual food experiment to see whether it was possible to lose weight while eating what he wanted. The music producer spent five days eating only pizza and documented the experience in a TikTok video. By the end of the experiment, he said he had lost 4.7 pounds.

The 38 year old producer began the challenge by stepping on a weighing scale. He showed that his weight was 152.2 pounds before starting the experiment. For the next five days, he ate one large thin crust Domino’s pizza each day and shared different moments from his unusual routine with viewers.

Blanco even took his pizza with him during a date night with his wife, Selena Gomez, at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles. While Gomez enjoyed her meal at the upscale venue, Blanco continued with his pizza only plan. The video also captured a sweet moment when Gomez was seen kissing Blanco on the neck.

However, eating the same food every day quickly became difficult for him. By the third day, Blanco admitted that he was tired of pizza and said, “I hate my life.”

His comments became even more dramatic by the fifth day when he said, “I don’t even remember myself as a human being. Like, what was life before pizza?” Despite being tired of the food, Blanco said he felt “f–king good.”

At the end of the five day experiment, Blanco stepped onto the scale again. His weight had dropped from 152.2 pounds to 147.5 pounds, meaning he had lost 4.7 pounds during the challenge.

“I just lost 4.7 pounds eating pizza. Nothing matters, do whatever you want,” he said.

Blanco then used the video to talk about his upcoming book, “F–k Failure,” which is scheduled to be released on Sept. 15. According to publisher Simon & Schuster, the book focuses on dealing with failure and using difficult experiences to work towards success.

“You want success? You gotta fail better,” Blanco says. “I fail constantly small everyday failures and massive failures that last for years. I’ve learned a few tricks along the way, and all of them have to do with turning f–king up into an artform.”

Blanco has also spoken openly about his love for food. He released his cookbook, “Open Wide: A Cookbook for Friends,” in April 2024. In May, he discussed Selena Gomez’s eating habits and said she enjoys foods such as burgers and fries.
