JISOO has started a new chapter in her solo career with “CLICK,” a romantic pop single about two people from very different worlds finding a connection that feels natural. Released through Warner Records, the song explores the idea that some relationships cannot always be explained through logic.
The music video, directed by Joseph Kahn, known for his work with artists including Taylor Swift, Britney Spears and Eminem, gives the song a futuristic setting. JISOO plays the last living cyborg at an abandoned theme park. She spends her days doing simple jobs such as checking tickets and cleaning the empty park.
Her lonely routine changes when she discovers a damaged robotic teddy bear. She decides to repair the bear and bring it back to life. Their meeting slowly changes the abandoned park as they help bring other forgotten toys back together. The once empty place becomes filled with movement, music and a sense of community.
The CLICK Bear has a special meaning in the video. The character represents JISOO’s fans around the world. They may come from different countries, speak different languages and have different lives, but music gives them something that connects them. The bear staying beside JISOO throughout the story reflects the relationship between the singer and her fans.
“CLICK” follows a busy period for JISOO across music, television and fashion. She recently appeared on the cover of V Magazine and starred in the Netflix romantic comedy series Boyfriend on Demand. BLACKPINK also released the DEADLINE EP after completing their Deadline World Tour in January.
Before “CLICK,” JISOO released “EYES CLOSED,” a collaboration with ZAYN. The song reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Global Excl. US chart, No. 20 on the Global 200 and No. 72 on the Hot 100. The achievement also made BLACKPINK the first girl group to have every member enter the Hot 100 as a solo artist.
JISOO’s solo journey began in 2023 with her debut EP ME. Its single “꽃(FLOWER)” reached No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 1 on the Global Excl. US chart.
Her 2025 mini album AMORTAGE included “earthquake” and “Your Love” and explored different stages of love. With “CLICK,” JISOO continues to develop her solo sound while placing connection and her relationship with fans at the centre of the story.
