Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (BB3), the new Kartik Aaryan film has collected good money at the box office during five days of release. The film collected ₹187.75 crore worldwide at the end of its first Tuesday. International markets contributed ₹39 crore, and domestic collections ₹148.75 crore. Still, it has not crossed the lifetime collection of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which collected ₹265.5 crore worldwide.
In India, it has performed differently. Whereas it started with ₹35.5 crore on the first day, ₹37 crore on the second, and ₹33.5 crore on the third day, which pushed the opening weekend sum to ₹106 crore. The collections went downhill on Monday by a tremendous 46.27% to ₹18 crore. And on Tuesday, further dipping by 27.78%, the amount came down to ₹13 crore. Therefore, the total domestic box office collection so far amounts to ₹137 crore.
The collections have taken a hit partly due to competition from other films in regional markets, such as Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran, which had collected ₹102 crore and Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Baskhar, which has collected ₹36.10 crore by Tuesday.
Anees Bazmee has directed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, wherein Kartik Aaryan reprises the role of Rooh Baba and Vidya Balan returns playing the character Manjulika, first portrayed by her in Bhool Bhulaiyaa back in 2007. The film Triptii Dimri, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Mishra, and Rajpal Yadav feature. It is mixed upon comedies and runtime. Nevertheless, the movie fares decently well at the box office and promises more positive reviews in the future.
