Kartik Aaryan’s horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has put up a stiff competition with Ajay Devgn’s cop-drama Singham Again, at the domestic box office as both are battling it out to cross the Rs 250 crore mark at the Indian Box Office.
So far, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has collected Rs 158.25 crore in the first week. It collected Rs 9.25 crore on Friday, Rs 15.5 crore on Saturday, Rs 16 crore on Sunday, Rs 5 crore on Monday, Rs 4.25 crore on Tuesday, and nearly Rs 3.85 crore on Wednesday for a total collection of Rs 212.10 crore. According to Sacnilk, it had occupied 13.05% of theaters on Wednesday.

Singham Again went for Rs 173 crore in the opening week and then followed with Rs 8 crore on the second Friday, Rs 12.25 crore on Saturday, Rs 13.5 crore on Sunday, Rs 4.25 crore on Monday, Rs 3.5 crore on Tuesday, and around Rs 3.15 crore on Wednesday, totaling Rs 217.65 crore. The theater occupancy of this film was 11.82% on Wednesday.

At the box office, currently, it is Singham Again. However, in advance bookings, Suriya’s upcoming Kanguva, which has already ensured Rs 10.16 crore in advance bookings may dent the collections of both the films. Film analyst Ramesh Bala believes that Kanguva will open well and predicts the film’s opening weekend collection to be Rs 25 crore in Tamil Nadu and Rs 40 crore in India, which should also take a global opening of around Rs 60-70 crore.
