Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Singham Again has officially hit theaters and, despite receiving mixed reviews, it made a strong opening at the box office. The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, is the third installment in the Singham franchise and features a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, among others.
On its opening day, Singham Again generated an estimated box office collection of 44-46 crores, slightly below expectations of crossing the 50 crore mark. However, this performance is notable considering it faced competition from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which reportedly earned around 36-38 crores on the same day.
The film’s advance bookings were decent, totaling over 15 crores, positioning it well among other releases of 2024, even if it didn’t top the charts. While some reviews critiqued the storyline, the combined fan power of Shetty and Devgn helped draw audiences to theaters. As the festive season continues, it will be interesting to see how both films perform in the coming days.
