Singham Again had a strong opening run, comfortably crossing the 200 crore mark in its second weekend, but it’s now facing its first substantial drop, possibly due to increased competition from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Despite initially outpacing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with a higher screen count, the Kartik Aaryan film’s expansion in show count has caused Singham Again to start losing ground in its box office performance.
While Singham Again enjoyed a Diwali boost and managed to surpass the lifetime earnings of Chennai Express (227 crores) by reaching an estimated 229.80-230.80 crore mark in 11 days, the film has started to feel the impact of market dynamics. On its second Friday, it earned 10.15 crores, but on day 11, earnings dipped to around 4.50-5.50 crores, marking a 45.81-55.66% drop. Ideally, for stronger momentum, the drop would need to be under 50%, signaling steady audience interest, especially as it aims for the 300 crore mark.
The film’s weekday performance will be crucial in determining its final box office outcome, as Singham Again now faces an uphill battle to reach the 300 crore club.
