Singham Again continues to perform well at the box office, especially during the festive Diwali season. After four days of release, the film has crossed the ₹130 crore mark, earning ₹16.24 crore on its first Monday, according to early estimates from Sacnilk. This brings its total collections to approximately ₹137.99 crore as of 10 PM on Monday.
Despite being the lowest single-day collection so far, the film had a robust opening weekend. It debuted with ₹43.5 crore on Friday, followed by ₹42.5 crore on Saturday, and ₹35.75 crore on Sunday. The overall occupancy for Monday stood at 29.64 percent in Hindi theaters.
Singham Again is part of Rohit Shetty’s expanded Cop Universe, which also includes hit films like Simmba and Sooryavanshi. The film features a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Akshay Kumar, with Salman Khan making a special cameo as Chulbul Pandey from the Dabangg series.
Critics have had mixed feelings about the film. The Hindustan Times noted that while Ajay Devgn delivers a familiar performance, it lacks the intensity of his character from the original Singham. Akshay Kumar’s entrance was well-received, showcasing his strong screen presence, while Deepika’s portrayal of a quirky cop did not resonate as effectively.
As the film continues its box office run, it faces ongoing competition from other releases like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, but it remains a strong contender in the festive landscape. The coming days will be crucial in determining its overall success.
