Tuesday troubles! Mere Husband Ki Biwi’s day 5 box office trends will leave you worried

Mere Husband Ki Biwi, directed by Mudassar Aziz and featuring Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, and Bhumi Pednekar, released in theaters on February 21, 2025, with expectations of making waves in the romantic comedy category. The film, which sees Arjun Kapoor revisiting his romantic hero image, has failed to impress at the box office, though, even with the glamorous cast.

Box Office Performance

Mere Husband Ki Biwi earned Rs 1.65 crore net in India on its first day of release. There was a slight increase on Day 2 with Rs 1.75 crore. The figures began to decline on subsequent days, with Day 3 releasing Rs 1.40 crore and Day 4 falling sharply to only Rs 60 lakh. By Day 5, the movie is likely to experience a fall of another 12-15 percent, and estimates are ranging between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 55 lakh.

Market Competition

Coming out in the midst of a hectic week of movie releases, such as Chhaava and the theatrical release of Sanam Teri Kasam, Mere Husband Ki Biwi has been facing strong competition. Even with the popularity of its star cast, the movie appears to be fighting hard to make a strong box office presence. Arjun Kapoor’s previous film, Singham Again, was a half-hit, whereas Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh have also had patchy box office performances with their latest films.

Is It Time to Book Tickets?

As bad as the underperforming box office has been, Mere Husband Ki Biwi still remains on in theaters. Haven’t yet gotten around to viewing the film? It’s still playing, albeit its own strength may be decreasing faster than anyone anticipated. Is the romantic comedy going to grow stronger within days to come, or get into theaters as fleetingly quickly? Only time remains to say.
