Venom: The Last Dance has shown decent traction at the global box office with an underwhelming opening week of stateside releases. The movie only dropped 51.7% from the prior weekend in international box offices but still posted a healthy $33 million in its third weekend in international markets.
Trade analyst Luiz Fernando estimates that Venom 3 is headed for a final worldwide gross between $500 million and $520 million, a good return on its $120 million budget. This would mean that the film has already earned a return of 228.5% more than its budget.
The movie runs its plot with rising tensions with the theme of Eddie Brock and Venom on run, being pursued by both sides, which would heighten to reach a very tough decision that could cut off the symbiotic bond. Every fan is excited to see what this one will look like, and the film’s strong box office performance worldwide suggests it is continuing to engage its audiences despite mixed reactions in certain regions.
