Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Baskhar has wrapped up an extended opening week on a high with major holidays like Diwali but backed up from then with an excellent run. Already at the break-even point as far as the investment goes, this one is yet to cross that intangible threshold to join the ranks of sure-shots among films in relation to the budget. So how has it done internationally after eight days in theatres?.
Directed by Venky Atluri, this Tollywood period drama has opened 31st October and has received excellent reviews from critics as well as the audience. This film’s stable box-office collection has been fueled by positive word-of-mouth and has reached a domestic collection of almost ₹50 cr. Its overseas collection stands at almost ₹75 cr.

India gross: ₹48.55 cr (tamil)

Worldwide gross: ₹67.55 crore
The global breakeven point for the film was said to be around ₹50 crore gross. So, technically speaking, Lucky Baskhar has entered the success bracket by crossing that mark. Still, with a collection of ₹41.15 crore net from the domestic market and with a budget around ₹56 crores, it needs that extra quantum of gains to be called a box office hit.
Interestingly, with its worldwide gross collection of ₹67.55 crores, *Lucky Baskhar* has already crossed the lifetime global collection of Dulquer Salmaan’s previous hit, *Sita Ramam*, which has minted ₹66 crores.
