Satyadev’s new Telugu action-thriller Zebra hit the screens on November 22, 2024. Despite generating quite a positive noise, its collection at the box office has been slow off the mark so far.

Day 2: ₹55 lakhs (Up 92.72% from the previous day)
Total (2 Days): ₹95 lakhs
Despite a big upswing on the second day, the total collections still are below ₹1 crore, which is disappointing for an action-thriller that has created huge hype. Word of mouth may still kick in to lead to further improvement over the weekend.
How the Audience and Critics Received It:
Overall, this has left fans hoping that Zebra will be that film that turns it all around for Satyadev, whose last few releases (Ram Setu, Krishnamma, Godfather, Godse, and Gurthunda Seethakalam) didn’t exactly flourish at the ticket window. Early viewers have been touting Zebra as a gripping, hard-hitting film with Satyadev delivering his goods, but the underwhelming opening calls for sustained word-of-mouth to pull them in.
