Satyadev’s new release, Zebra, may turn out to be a thorn in the flesh for the box office while garnering positive reviews. This Telugu action thriller, which was released on November 22, 2024, has failed to attract the audience and its collections remain alarmingly low.

Day 1: ₹4 lakhs
Day 2: ₹55 lakhs – saw some growth Day 3: ₹6 lakhs -an 89% drop from Day 2
Overall (3 Days): ₹1.55 crore
The movie has not even crossed the ₹2 crore mark and remains without much indication of gathering steam.
Critical Response:
Even though the movie has been criticized less at the box office, Zebra has impressed audiences and critics with some slick execution and outstanding performances, especially of Satyadev, but it has still not translated to better collections, that mostly seems like a result of weak initial buzz and competition.
Satyadev’s Recent Film Career End
His recent films like Krishnamma, Godfather, Godse, and Gurthunda Seethakalam were box office failures too. Even his role in the Hindi film Ram Setu was not much of a success.
Zebra was supposed to bring an end to all these flops but seems to be on the verge of repeating the same story.
Cast and Crew:
The film has a talented ensemble cast of actors, including Dhananjaya, Sathyaraj, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Amrutha Iyengar. Music is by Ravi Basrur.
Outlook:
Positive word-of-mouth might still bring Zebra to Satyadev’s good side, but at this point, the film is unlikely to pay its costs and salvage a spot on the underperforming list of films starring him. Hopes of career turnarounds for the actor have likely been added to his list of disappointments with this release.
