The controversy around Bigg Boss OTT 3 has intensified with the involvement of former Bigg Boss contestant Umar Riaz, who shared his perspective on social media regarding the leaked intimate video of Armaan Malik and Kritika Malik. Umar Riaz, known from his stint on Bigg Boss 15, expressed his disappointment with the current season, suggesting that the show’s makers might be releasing such content to gain attention due to a lack of engaging material.

On July 22, Umar Riaz took to his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), to voice his concerns. He remarked, “Seeing the news of a leaked video of a married couple in biggboss ott makes me wonder what the contestants are doing, so much so that BB had to release such content. They are married couple for God sake, leave em alone. Even God has permitted them to be intimate, why bother!” This statement highlights his view that the intimate moments of married couples should be respected and not used for sensationalism.

Bigg Boss OTT 3: Shiv Sena Leader slams Armaan Malik for spreading ‘vulgarity’

The controversy started when footage purportedly showing Armaan Malik and his second wife, Kritika Malik, in an intimate situation went viral. This prompted political commentary, with the Shiv Sena demanding immediate action against both the contestants and the show’s producers. They have even called for the involvement of Mumbai police and suggested approaching the central government to regulate OTT platforms more strictly.

In response, Payal Malik, Armaan’s first wife, strongly denied the authenticity of the viral clip, insisting that the video is edited and not reflective of the reality inside the Bigg Boss house. She pointed out inconsistencies in the video, such as the presence of lamps and blankets not used in the house, to support her claim.

This situation underscores the broader debate about the ethics of reality television and the boundaries of privacy for participants. It also raises questions about the measures taken by show producers to ensure the content remains respectful and appropriate for audiences. As the controversy unfolds, the actions of the show’s creators and responses from authorities will be crucial in addressing these issues.
