In a shocking incident, unidentified gunmen opened fire early morning outside YouTuber and reality show star Elvish Yadav’s home in Gurugram’s Sector 57. The firing took place between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM, with more than a dozen rounds reportedly discharged. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
According to Gurugram Police PRO Sandeep Kumar, three masked individuals on motorcycles carried out the attack and quickly fled the scene. Elvish was not present at home during the firing. Only the caretaker was inside at the time. Reports say the attackers targeted the ground and first floors of the house, while Elvish resides on the second and third floors.
Elvish’s father confirmed to the media that they had not received any threats prior to the attack. “I spoke to Elvish, and he said he is fine. We haven’t received any threat calls. But yes, if someone had been outside, anything could’ve happened,” he said.
Police have begun legal proceedings, though a formal complaint from the Yadav family is still pending. Meanwhile, a gang allegedly led by Portugal-based fugitive gangster Himanshu Bhau has claimed responsibility through an Instagram post.
This isn’t the first controversy surrounding Elvish Yadav. In November 2023, he was arrested under the Wildlife Protection Act for allegedly supplying snake venom at rave parties in Noida. He was granted bail after spending eight days in custody.
In March 2024, he was involved in a viral altercation with fellow YouTuber Maxtern, admitting to slapping him over alleged threats.
