Isha Rikhi got emotional while opening up about her separation from rapper Badshah during the Bigg Boss 20 premiere on Sunday, September 6. The Punjabi actress recently confirmed that she and Badshah had decided to end their relationship. Speaking about the difficult phase on the reality show, Isha said that broken trust played an important role in her decision to move on.
During her conversation on the show, Isha spoke about how much she had tried to make the relationship work because she wanted to get married and build a settled life. However, she admitted that some experiences can completely change a person and the way they look at relationships. She became emotional while remembering the period and said that losing trust made her question herself.
“I tried really hard because I wanted to get married and settle down. But some experiences change you. I think when your trust is broken in certain relationships, you reach a stage where you start wondering where you went wrong. But whatever I faced, I don’t want to talk about it. I didn’t even realise when I became a side character in my own story. But I don’t have any regrets,” Isha said.
Isha made it clear that she did not want to discuss the personal details of what happened between her and Badshah. Instead, she appeared focused on understanding the experience and moving forward with her life. Her emotional confession showed how deeply the separation had affected her.
During the conversation, host Salman Khan also encouraged Isha to leave the past behind. He reminded her that breakups are a part of life and told her that she should not allow another person to define her happiness or give them importance because of the pain they caused.
“Sabke breakup hote hain yaar, dekho aapke saamne kaun khada hai. Nobody should get credit of hurting you. The other person has moved on long time ago,” Salman said.
Isha’s appearance on Bigg Boss 20 comes only days after she and Badshah publicly confirmed their separation. On September 1, the former couple released a joint statement saying that they had mutually decided to go their separate ways.
“I and Isha Rikhi have mutually decided to part ways and move forward on our separate paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to kindly respect our privacy during this time. This will be our only statement on the matter. We sincerely request that there be no further speculation or assumptions regarding our relationship,” the statement read.
