Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharana have emerged as the winners of The Traitors Season 2. The much awaited finale episode was released on Thursday, September 3, bringing the strategy based reality show to an end. Krystle and Rida managed to survive the twists, doubts and eliminations throughout the game and eventually lifted the trophy. The two winners also took home prize money of Rs 66 lakh.
The finale featured Krystle, Rida, Mallika Sherawat, Shalini Passi, Dalip Tahil and Sahil Salathia. Mallika was the first contestant to leave the final round after she was ‘murdered’ a night before the finale. Following her exit, the remaining contestants took part in the Circle of Shaq for the final time. The round once again tested their ability to identify who they could trust and who could be hiding their real intentions.
Dalip Tahil was eventually eliminated during the final Circle of Shaq. The game then became even more intense as Sahil Salathia and Shalini Passi were also ‘murdered’. With the other finalists out of the game, Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharana were left standing and were declared the winners of The Traitors 2.
The second season of The Traitors premiered on August 13, 2026. The show brought together several well known names from entertainment and social media, including Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Malhan, Shweta Tiwari, Rhea Chakraborty, Ranveer Brar, Aaditya Kulshreshth aka Kullu, Shahneel Gill and Parul Gulati.

Interestingly, Munawar Faruqui was the first contestant to be eliminated from the season. After his eviction, the stand up comedian opened up about how he felt about the way other contestants played with his trust. He said, “Mere saath sab sweet ban rahe the. Mere paas aakar they were talking very sweetly and gaining my trust, that they know I am Innocent. I like trusting people, there was no stress. (Everyone was being sweet to me. They would come to me and talk very sweetly, gaining my trust and telling me that they knew I was innocent. I like trusting people, but there was no stress).”
The Traitors is built around strategy, trust and smart gameplay. Contestants have to work out who the hidden traitors are while also protecting themselves from elimination. This makes every decision important because trusting the wrong person can quickly change the course of the game.
Hosted by Karan Johar, The Traitors 2 streamed on Prime Video. The finale has now brought the second season to a close with Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharana taking the trophy and Rs 66 lakh home.
