The wait is almost over for Lust Stories 3. Netflix has released the trailer for the third edition of its International Emmy® nominated anthology series. The new season brings together four filmmakers, Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj, who tell four different stories about love, relationships, desire and the problems that can come with them.
Lust Stories 3 explores different sides of relationships through four separate stories. Each filmmaker brings a different style and approach to the anthology, while the stories remain connected through their focus on emotions, choices and human relationships. The trailer gives viewers a first look at the situations and characters they will encounter in the new season.
The cast includes several well known names from the Indian film industry. Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Radhika Madan, Sana Thampi, Vijay Varma, Abhishek Banerjee, Siddharth, Ali Fazal and Gurfateh Pirzada are part of the anthology.
The trailer shows people dealing with complicated relationships, unexpected decisions and emotions that are not always easy to express. Some moments bring humour and chemistry, while others focus on vulnerability and the challenges that come with understanding what people really want.
Rather than following one single story, Lust Stories 3 presents four different worlds and situations. The stories look at how personal desires and choices can affect relationships and the people involved. The trailer also suggests that the new season will move between lighter moments and more serious emotional situations.
With Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj directing the four stories, the anthology brings together four different filmmaking styles. The returning format allows each director to explore relationships in their own way while keeping the larger theme of love and desire at the centre.
The trailer is out now. Lust Stories 3 premieres September 18, only on Netflix.
