Zee 5 is set to bring a new investigative thriller to viewers with Panchanama, a six episode series that will premiere exclusively on Telugu Zee 5 on 11th September 2026. Directed by Mohan Srivatsa, the series follows a police officer whose search for answers after a mysterious death leads him toward secrets that could put his own life at risk.
The story centres on Jai Ram, played by Bharath Srinivasan. Jai is a dedicated police officer who has a painful past of his own. His life takes an unexpected turn when the death of a young boy close to him is officially treated as an accident. However, Jai is not convinced by the explanation and decides to investigate the matter himself.
As Jai begins looking into the case, he comes across several clues that do not seem to fit the official version of events. His investigation takes him deeper into a complicated network involving unexplained deaths, hidden secrets and influential people who appear determined to keep certain information away from the public.
The more Jai investigates, the more difficult his situation becomes. What begins as an attempt to understand one death slowly develops into a much larger investigation. His search for the truth also puts him in situations where the difference between seeking justice and protecting himself becomes increasingly difficult to understand.
The six episode series focuses on Jai’s determination to uncover what really happened while showing the personal challenges he faces along the way. Each discovery appears to raise new questions, keeping the central mystery connected to a larger conspiracy.
Alongside Bharath Srinivasan as Jai Ram, the series features Shivaji Raja as Maruthi, Medha Reddy as Dharani, Charan Babu as Adhi, Rupa Lakshmi as Pushpavalli, Radhika Priti as Devaki, Surya as Hari and Srija as Divya.
With its story built around a mysterious death, a police investigation and hidden secrets, Panchanama explores how far one person can go when he refuses to accept an explanation that does not seem right.
Panchanama premieres exclusively on Telugu Zee 5 on 11th September 2026.
