A mother’s nine year search for her missing child is at the centre of Netflix’s upcoming mystery thriller Shaque: Trust No One. The series is scheduled to premiere on September 24 and will follow a woman whose search for answers takes her into a world filled with secrets, suspicion and unexpected revelations. As the truth slowly comes closer, she begins to question whether the people around her can really be trusted.
Created by Rensil D’Silva and Siddharth P. Malhotra, Shaque: Trust No One is directed by Rensil D’Silva and backed by Alchemy Films. The story focuses on the difficult relationship between trust and suspicion, while also exploring how love and obsession can affect people when they are searching for the truth.
The series features Parineeti Chopra in the lead role, marking her series debut. She plays a mother who has spent nine years searching for her missing child. Her journey changes when new information begins to emerge, forcing her to look more closely at the people closest to her. The mystery raises an important question about whether her instincts can be trusted as much as the evidence in front of her.
The cast also includes Soni Razdan, Anup Soni, Jennifer Winget, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Harleen Sethi, Dhruv Chowdhary and Sumeet Vyas. The ensemble brings together characters whose relationships appear to be closely connected to the central mystery.
As the investigation develops, the series is expected to explore how a person reacts when long held beliefs are challenged. The story also looks at how the search for a loved one can affect relationships and decision making.
With Parineeti taking on her first series role, the project marks a new phase in her screen career. Shaque: Trust No One is set to premiere on September 24 on Netflix, with the mystery surrounding the missing child forming the central thread of the story.
