Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate also criticized the remarks, stating, “This isn’t creative. It’s perverse. And we can’t normalise perverse behaviour as cool.”

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis weighed in on the controversy, suggesting possible action against the show’s creators. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed that the FIR was filed under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for promoting obscenity. Additionally, Mumbai Police visited the Khar studio where the show was recorded to investigate further.
