Shah Rukh Khan is pulling out all the stops to support son Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, Ba*ds Of Bollywood. After the surprise first look was unveiled on August 17, all eyes are now on Wednesday, August 20, when the official promo will be released. Ahead of the big reveal, Netflix dropped a teaser video featuring both SRK and Aryan—though they don’t share the screen together.

In the promo, SRK begins with his signature line, “Picture to saalon se baaki hai,” and Aryan finishes the sentence separately, adding, “Lekin show ab shuru hoga.” Netflix captioned the teaser: “Filmy doesn’t fall far from the tree… Preview abhi baaki hai mere dost!”

SRK Hosts ‘Ask SRK’, Confirms His Cameo “Haq Se”
During a recent ‘Ask SRK’ session on X (formerly Twitter), Shah Rukh Khan confirmed he has a cameo in Aryan’s series, saying it’s “haq se” (by right). This marks the first official acknowledgment of his appearance in the dark comedy series. Though he was absent from the initial look, this teaser marks SRK’s on-screen connection to Aryan’s ambitious debut project.

Aryan’s Voice Sparks Frenzy Online
The first look, released on August 17, featured Aryan Khan delivering a narration in a deep, husky voice that immediately reminded fans of his father. Social media erupted with excitement, with users pointing out how eerily similar his voice is to SRK’s. “He inherited not just the charm but also the voice,” commented one fan.
