The trailer of Waiting Hai is out, giving viewers a look at a story that begins with a simple hack but soon turns into a much bigger problem. Starring Divyenndu and Bhuvan Arora, the film is set in Patna and centres on an unusual face off between their characters. The story follows two very different people whose lives come together after an unexpected situation.
Divyenndu plays Sugam Mishra, a railway constable who is still trying to settle into his new job. His work is not easy, especially as he has to deal with a demanding boss. Along with his professional struggles, Sugam is also dealing with problems in his personal life. His routine takes another turn when he comes across Afroz Hamsa.
Bhuvan Arora plays Afroz, a tech whiz who knows how to find a way around the system. Afroz manages to use his skills to get past a system, but what initially appears to be a clever move soon creates a much bigger chain of events. The situation brings him directly into conflict with Sugam, putting the two characters on opposite sides.
The trailer hints at a mix of tension, chaos and unexpected turns as Sugam and Afroz try to deal with the situation. Their different personalities and approaches also become an important part of the story. While Sugam is working within the system as a railway constable, Afroz is willing to find his own way around it.
Directed by National Award winning filmmaker Sameer Vidwans, Waiting Hai also features Harshita Gaur, Kumud Mishra, Vijay Maurya, Srushti Tare and Sunita Rajwar in key roles. The film brings together an ensemble cast around the central conflict between Sugam and Afroz.
The MX Original has been produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Ajay Rai. The Patna setting adds another layer to the story as the characters navigate their personal and professional problems.
At its centre, Waiting Hai follows what happens when a seemingly small act creates unexpected trouble. Sugam and Afroz are drawn into a situation that neither appears fully prepared to handle, setting up the conflict that drives the story.
Waiting Hai will stream on Prime Video from September 16.
