Four friends, their carefree lives and a series of unexpected events come together in the upcoming Marathi film Manjar. After the film poster created curiosity among viewers a few days ago, the makers have now released the teaser. The teaser gives a glimpse into a world filled with friendship, fun, confusion and plenty of entertaining moments. It also raises an interesting question about the connection between the story and a cat.
Siddharth Menon, Omkar Bhojane, Tejas Raut and Bhagyashree Limaye are at the centre of the teaser. The four characters have different personalities and their own unique styles, but when they come together, their lives quickly turn into a series of funny and confusing situations. Their conversations, actions and the way they deal with different situations suggest that their friendship will be an important part of the story. At the same time, the teaser keeps the actual reason behind all the chaos a mystery.

Director Sushil Mahadev said, ‘’’Manjar’ची सुरुवातच एका मजेशीर कल्पनेतून झाली. चार मित्रांचं आयुष्य, त्यांचा स्वभाव आणि त्यांच्यातली मैत्री या सगळ्याभोवती कथा फिरते. सिद्धार्थ, ओंकार, तेजस आणि भाग्यश्री यांच्यासोबत काम करताना या चौघांची केमिस्ट्री खूप छान जमली. चौघेही वेगळ्या स्वभावाचे आहेत आणि त्यामुळे ते एकत्र असताना प्रत्येक प्रसंगात काहीतरी नवीन घडत राहातं. या चित्रपटात विनोद आहे, गोंधळ आहे, मैत्री आहे आणि त्यासोबत धमाल मनोरंजनही आहे. प्रेक्षकांनी ही मैत्री, हे पात्र आणि त्यांच्यासोबत घडणारा गोंधळ अनुभवावा, अशीच आमची इच्छा आहे. ‘मांजर’ हा सर्व वयोगटातील प्रेक्षकांचं मनोरंजन करणारा चित्रपट आहे.”
Manjar is produced by H3O Motion Pictures and Just Right Films and directed by Sushil Mahadev. Harsh, Avinash Sharma, Hari Rajput, Bunty Nagi and Jasbir Nagi have produced the film. AA Films is handling its distribution. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on September 18, 2026.
With its focus on friendship, comedy and unexpected situations, Manjar is creating curiosity ahead of its theatrical release. The mystery surrounding the cat could become one of the key elements that audiences will be eager to understand.
