Telugu cinema’s ‘Mass Maharaja’ Ravi Teja is set to light up the big screen once again with his milestone 75th film, Mass Jathara. Co-starring the dynamic Sreeleela, the action-packed entertainer will hit theatres on August 27, 2025, just in time for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
A Grand Carnival of Action and Entertainment
Directed by debutant Bhanu Bhogavarapu, Mass Jathara is set against a vibrant carnival backdrop, promising a visually rich and festive experience. The film was initially slated for a May 9 release but has now been shifted to align with the festive season. Announcing the new date, Sithara Entertainments posted, “It’s an official declaration of a Mass Entertaining Bonanza this festive season… #MassJatharaOnAug27th.”
This marks Ravi Teja and Sreeleela’s second collaboration after their blockbuster success in Dhamaka. Expectations are high as fans eagerly await another explosive dose of high-octane drama, action, and entertainment.

Sreeleela’s Rising Stardom and Bollywood Debut
While gearing up for Mass Jathara, Sreeleela is also preparing for her Bollywood debut opposite Kartik Aaryan in a film directed by Anurag Basu, widely speculated to be the third installment of the Aashiqui franchise. Slated for a Diwali 2025 release, the film is already generating buzz.

Speaking to Elle, Sreeleela said, “It will be a beautifully-packed present for the audience,” calling the love from fans her biggest motivation. “There’s a love story between my audience and me. Defining it would be confining it.”
Sreeleela began her film career with the Kannada hit Kiss in 2019 and has since carved a niche for herself in Telugu cinema, with Mass Jathara set to be another major step in her rising career.
