Urvashi Rautela hospitalised as she suffers a fracture while shooting for ‘NBK 109’ in Hyderabad

Actor Urvashi Rautela has reportedly sustained a fracture while shooting for her upcoming film NBK 109 in Hyderabad. According to a report Urvashi was admitted to a local hospital following the injury. Her team released a press statement indicating that she suffered a ‘terrible’ fracture while filming a high-octane scene and has been in considerable pain since the incident. Urvashi had recently flown to Hyderabad for the third schedule of the film’s shoot.

NBK 109 is a Telugu film featuring a star-studded cast including Nandamuri Balakrishna, Dulquer Salmaan, and Bobby Deol. Directed by Bobby Kolli, with music by Thaman S, the film began production in November 2023. The release date has yet to be announced. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Urvashi expressed her admiration for Balakrishna, describing him as a “living legend and a cult personality, especially down south.” She spoke about their good rapport on set and shared that Balakrishna had been gracious enough to participate in her birthday celebrations earlier this year.

Urvashi Rautela has been active in the Hindi film industry since 2013 and made her debut in Telugu cinema last year. She has appeared in several special numbers, including “Wild Saala” from Akhil Akkineni-starrer Agent, “Boss Party” from Chiranjeevi-starrer Waltair Veerayya, and “My Dear Markendeya” from Sai Dharam Tej and Pawan Kalyan-starrer Bro. Her most recent film, JNU: Jahangir National University, saw her playing the role of a college politician. Directed by Vinay Sharma and produced by Pratima Datta, the political drama also stars Siddharth Bodke, Rashami Desai, Ravi Kishan, Vijay Raaz, Piyush Mishra, and Sonnalli Seygall, and was released in theaters on June 21.
