Comedian and musician Munawar Faruqui recently shared a serene moment from his trip to Mecca, where he performed Umrah with his wife, Mehzabeen Coatwala. Posting a picture of the sacred Masjid Al Haram on Instagram, Munawar expressed his gratitude and offered prayers for his fans. In a heartfelt caption, he wrote, “Duniya ki sabse khubsurat jagah Makkah. Allah sabko yahan bulaye. Aur dua aap sabke liye ki hai maine. Mujhe bhi apni duaon mein yaad rakhna,” meaning “Makkah, the most beautiful place in the world. May Allah invite everyone here. I have prayed for all of you; remember me in your prayers too.”
Life After Marriage: A Blessing of Peace
In a recent conversation with former actress Sana Khan, Munawar opened up about how his life has transformed after marriage. Reflecting on his prayers from last Ramzan, he shared, “I remember last Ramzan, I only prayed for peace and that now I just want to settle down. And this year, I am so blessed that, just like I never imagined, I found a partner even better than I had hoped for. My home feels complete now.” Munawar expressed his joy and contentment with his wife, describing her as the perfect puzzle piece in his life.
Wedding Drama: A Hospitalized Groom
Munawar also shared an amusing anecdote about his wedding. He was hospitalized just a week before the ceremony due to intestinal issues. Despite being advised to rest and avoid eating, Munawar insisted on being discharged, saying, “It’s my wedding tomorrow!” His determination was met with laughter from the doctor, but he still attended his big day.
