Actor Karan Kundrra finally broke his silence after a going-viral screenshot declared he was seen on the Bumble dating app. The photo, featuring a man with a beige T-shirt containing Kundrra’s name and age as 40, soon went viral on Reddit and elsewhere—giving rise to speculation among followers, particularly in light of his current relationship with Tejasswi Prakash.
“It’s the Same Screenshot Again!”
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Kundrra dismissed the buzz, calling it a recycled fake. “It’s not even an account, it’s just a topic for haters,” he said. Laughing off the situation, he added, “It’s the same screenshot! It shows me in Kalyan, but I’m actually in Jalandhar with my family.”
Kundrra explained that this is not the first time a photo like that has appeared. “This has been going on for 3–4 years. The screenshot appears every 6–8 months. My fans forward it to me, and we all just laugh.”
Fans Argue Over Screenshot’s Validity
While some fans quickly dismissed the picture as fake or “badly edited,” others questioned whether dating apps might inadvertently verify such profiles. Some said that dating app verification processes are not foolproof, leaving impersonators to fall through the cracks.
A Throwback to His Bumble Connection
Fueling the fascination is Kundrra’s history with Bumble. He was the dating app’s poster boy while dating ex-girlfriend Anusha Dandekar, and that has only fueled the gossip.

Undeterred by the hype, though, the actor hasn’t spoken about the issue directly on social media. What he and Tejasswi Prakash are said to be nonchalant about, though, is just having another good laugh at the expense of social media.
At least for now, it’s evident Karan Kundrra isn’t losing any sleep over false dating profiles.
