Bobby Deol and NBK’s Daaku Maharaaj earns Rs.14 Cr on Day 2! Is this a worrying sign?

Daaku Maharaaj has had a good opening at the box office, though collections dropped on day 2 after its release. Let’s see the film’s box office performance now:

Day 1 (Opening Day) Box Office:
Collection: ₹25.35 crore nett (domestic)
It had a very good opening and collected ₹56 crore worldwide on day 1, which was Balakrishna’s highest opening** till date.

Day 2 Box Office:
Collection: ₹13.50 crore nett (domestic) (pre-open estimates)
So far: ₹38.85 nett (domestic)
The Telugu collection showed a day-after decline; this was marked on Monday at around 39.76% in that region.

International Reviews:
The film was released on the Sankranti festival, which is a prime festival for the Telugu film industry. It grossed well worldwide with ₹56 crore on day 1. That helped it in its success as it was one of the biggest releases for the festival.

Mixed Reviews:
The film received mixed reviews as people and critics showed mixed reactions over the action-filled storyline.

Balakrishna celebrated the success of the film at a party attended by the cast and crew of the film, including Urvashi Rautela and Vishwak Sen. Balakrishna showed how much the film’s success belonged to everyone who worked on the film.

Despite the slight dip on day 2, Daaku Maharaaj continues to perform well and remains one of the key films to watch out for during the festive season.
