Chiyaan Vikram and Dushara Vijayan’s Tamil action thriller Veera Dheera Sooran released in theatres on March 27, 2025. Even with the star cast and gripping storyline, the movie has been underperforming at the box office. Following a good initial response, the film has been witnessing a consistent drop in its collections, which makes it difficult for it to run for a long time.

In 9 days of release, Veera Dheera Sooran has collected Rs 31.66 crore at the box office. Day 9 saw the film earn Rs 1.41 crore. The occupacny percentage also shows that interest in the film is lower with a 16.67% overall Tamil occupancy on Friday. Produced with a budget of Rs 55 crore, Veera Dheera Sooran is finding it difficult to meet its production expense, considering the current box office collection. Based on the life of Kaali, a provision store owner who gets involved in a criminal racket, the movie is directed by Arun Kumar. It stars a great cast comprising Chiyaan Vikram, Dushara Vijayan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, SJ Surya, Prudhvi Raj, and Sreeja Ravi.
With the current direction, the movie’s box office success is unclear, and it will be tough for it to break even at the production stage.
