The much-awaited film Thandel starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi had its Hindi trailer launch on Friday, January 31. As directed by Chandoo Mondeti, presented by Allu Aravind, the Telugu film seems to go perfectly with romance and patriotism.
Adding to the hype of the movie, superstar of Bollywood, Aamir Khan, recently launched the trailer for the film’s Hindi version. The news about the release had been initially updated by Geetha Arts in Instagram. Geetha posted a poster including Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi along with a captioned poster that says “Mr. Perfectionist for #Thandel. #AamirKhan launches #ThandelHindiTrailer at grand launch event in Mumbai. Tomorrow 31st Jan, 4 PM onwards. Stay Tuned!!”.
In the film, Naga Chaitanya portrays a fisherman whose life takes a tragic turn when he unknowingly crosses into Pakistani waters. The trailer hints at intense emotions, gripping jail sequences, and a narrative that extends beyond conventional storytelling. Sai Pallavi’s character adds depth to the emotional arc, as their love story faces profound struggles amid national tensions.
The movie was supposed to keep its emotional feel intact as a producer Allu Aravind has said, as told by director Chandoo Mondeti to restrict the Pakistani angle only in 18-20 minutes as his dream to pay tribute to nationalism minus jingoistic cinema and formula-based patriotic movies.
Running for two hours and twenty-five minutes, Thandel promises to be an engaging story without unnecessary drag. As the anticipation builds up, audiences wait eagerly for this cinematic experience full of love, adversity, and national pride.
