Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Review: There is a little more in the film than the trailer

After the immense success of the film Stree 2, it seemed that Rajkumar Rao’s film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video would benefit and perhaps due to this the marketing and PR team of the film’s producer T Series and Balaji promoted this film a lot but unfortunately the story and script of the film turned out to be weak.

Directed by Raj Shandilya, the film “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video” starts with an attractive idea, but soon it turns into a disappointing film.

The story of the film revolves around a newly married couple from Rishikesh, Vicky (Rajkumar Rao) and Vidya (Tripti Dimri), who decide to make a video of their honeymoon. But their happiness is short-lived, as their video gets stolen and after this there are many ups and downs in their life during the case and investigation after the case.

Apart from Rajkumar Rao and Tripti Dimri, the cast of the film also includes Mallika Sherawat, Vijay Raj and Mukesh Tiwari. But due to the poor story and screenplay of the film, his talent is not visible. Rajkumar Rao is a great actor but I did not like him in this role.

The first part of the film is especially weak which bores at many places. After the interval, the film picked up a little pace but by the time the climax came, the film again became weak. The film Vicky Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video is a comedy film but you will find little more comedy than what you have seen in the trailer. This film can be for those who are fans of Raj Shandilya’s old work.

Overall, Vicky Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video is a below average film. Therefore, the rating for the film is 2 stars.
