There was a time when producers and top line stars were locked in a battle over releasing their films on holidays due to the associated profitability, and though the trend has continued this year as well with quite a few films witnessing holiday releases, but the two top stars are about to change the trend, somewhat!

Coming to the topic at hand, two of Bollywood’s most anticipated films with top stars, DHOOM 3 and JAI HO, are not releasing on holidays.
While Aamir Khan’s DHOOM 3 releases on 20th December a normal Friday, it is almost five days ahead of Christmas holiday(s). It will be followed by Salman Khan’s JAI HO, which is all set to release on January 24th, another Friday, and unfortunately for the film, 26th January, which is a public holiday in India, is falling on a Sunday this time. So the advantage of a holiday is lost.
However, it appears that these two stars are so very confident of their films that holiday or no holiday, they are going ahead with the scheduled release plans, and one is sure that despite the disadvantage that the two films face, DHOOM 3 and JAI HO will surely break many existing records and create new ones.
