The music launch of SHAMITABH was one grand event with Bollywood biggies like Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Sridevi, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Dhanush, Akshara Haasan, Shruti Haasan, Tabu & many others present. Not to forget, it was also a night to pay tribute to maestro Ilaiyaraaja on completion of 1000 films. The makers also released a new trailer of the film which looks very exciting and it has only taken the inquisitiveness a notch higher!

Before showing the new trailer, Big B introduced the trailer by saying a few words. ”Apart from the fact that Kamal, Rajini & me have worked together, worked together with Raaja sir, there are some other similarities with us. I am working with Rajini sir’s son-in-law, for whom I have given my voice in SHAMITABH and I am working with Kamal’s daughter Akshara, who has been rather obstinate & nasty with me in the film. So we want to let you know what the trust behind SHAMITABH really is and to know that we have prepared out trailer number 2.”
