Says Deepika, “Irrfan & I have a great chemistry. I think people didn’t know what to expect initially because the film is primarily Piku’s journey and talks about a father & daughter relationship. But one of the things that pleasantly surprised all of us is the reaction that Piku and Rana (Irrfan Khan’s character name in PIKU) got from the trailers. It’s great to see that the audience sees much more than we had expected.”
Also starring Amitabh Bachchan, PIKU is directed by Shoojit Sircar and is slated to release on 8th May, 2015.
