Legendary actor Dilip Kumar, who was admitted to a suburban hospital on September 15 after he complained of chest pain and uneasiness, was discharged yesterday. The actor had suffered a mild heart attack and was kept under observation at the ICU unit of the hospital.

After almost 10-days of treatment, Dilip Kumar was discharged yesterday and was taken home by his wife Saira Banu following an improvement in his condition. The 90-year old actor has starred in a variety of films and has been regarded as the Bollywood’s Tragedy King!

As the news of the actor being discharged spread, there was a huge crowd that gathered outside the hospital to catch his glimpse. Dilip Kumar was overwhelmed with the emergence of crowd and also gave thumbs up to them, conveying the message that he is doing absolutely fine and here to stay for more time.
