Diljit Dosanjh’s Chandigarh concert : Imtiaz Ali reacts to fan climbing tree to watch his concert

Diljit Dosanjh is currently captivating fans across India with his concerts, and his recent performance in Chandigarh sparked excitement. During the concert, a fan was seen climbing a tree to catch a glimpse of the singer, reminiscent of a similar scene from the film Amar Singh Chamkila, where fans were depicted climbing trees to see the legendary singer’s performance. This moment was shared by filmmaker Imtiaz Ali on his Instagram, who described it as the “Diljit Dosanjh effect” while also acknowledging the connection to Chamkila.

Imtiaz Ali also posted a video of fans who, unable to secure tickets, danced outside the venue to Diljit’s music, including a track from Amar Singh Chamkila. The movie, which features Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role as the iconic singer Chamkila, has received widespread acclaim, especially for Diljit’s portrayal. The film, directed by Imtiaz Ali and starring Parineeti Chopra, explores the life of Chamkila, whose bold music made him both famous and controversial.

Diljit Dosanjh took to Instagram to thank his Chandigarh fans for their support, expressing his gratitude with a heartfelt message. He dedicated the concert to 18-year-old chess prodigy Dommaraju Gukesh, the youngest World Chess Champion, highlighting Gukesh’s determination to achieve his dream despite facing challenges.

After a successful show in Chandigarh, Diljit will perform in Mumbai on December 19 and will wrap up the India leg of his Dil-Luminati tour in Guwahati on December 29.
