Emraan Hashmi’s highly awaited film Ground Zero is finally set to arrive on the big screen, having been in development for some time. The Excel Entertainment production is scheduled for release on April 25, 2025. The creators recently unveiled the first poster, showcasing Emraan in a fierce look as BSF Commandant Narendra Nath Dubey, who is deployed in Kashmir.
Riveting Poster and Plot Details
The recently released poster features Emraan with his back to the camera, gun in hand, and gazing over a Kashmir landscape. Thick black smoke billows from some buildings, suggesting a recent explosion. The tagline of the film is, “The untold story of a mission that changed Kashmir forever.” Emraan posted the poster on his social media, captioning it, “The untold story of a mission that changed Kashmir forever. #GroundZero in cinemas on 25th April, 2025. #AbPrahaarHoga.”

Ground Zero unfolds the narrative of BSF Deputy Commandant Narendra Nath Dubey, who spearheads a high-risk two-year investigation into a national security threat. The gripping story is inspired by real events and centers on a classified war that was hidden from the masses. Pitted against the backdrop of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism, the movie vows to be full of action as well as an emotionally charged narrative.
Production Team and Cast
Directed by Tejas Deoskar, Ground Zero features Emraan Hashmi and Saie Tamhankar, who is at present streaming on Netflix in Dabba Cartel. Directed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar of Excel Entertainment, the movie also witnessed some issues during the shoot, such as an incident when a miscreant hurled stones at the team members while shooting in Pahalgam. Owing to such obstacles, the movie is all set to enthral viewers with its gripping storyline.
