An elated Ritesh Batra says, “It’s an honour to be nominated alongside the finest films of the year, much credit to my whole tram and the work we did together. It’s a good validation to tell Indian stories to the world. If we don’t tell our stories, no one else will.”

The other films nominated in the Foreign Film Category are IDA, LEVIATHAN TRASH and TWO DAYS, ONE NIGHT.

The BAFTA Awards ceremony will be held on 8th February, 2015.
