There can be nothing better than getting rewarded with awards for the hard work & efforts you put in for your role in the Bollywood films. But Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin says that she doesn’t believe in expecting awards.

At an interview, ask her about expecting awards for her role in MARGARITA WITH A STRAW and she says, “I don’t believe in expecting awards. I mean you can’t sit there thinking will I get an award, you got to carry on with work. My life continues and I have to keep working, tomorrow I go to shoot, so life goes on. I don’t think you can be sitting there waiting for awards. Awards are a wonderful bonus, but my real award is work; reward is work.”
Further when asked her about the National award, she said, ”I think National awards are great, it’s a great platform for a lot of films. I am so happy that COURT won in the Best Film this year. It’s actually made by a very close friend of mine and it’s a brilliant film, so I am also promoting this film as we released together.”
Kalki was last seen in the film MAGARITA WITH A STRAW which also starred Revathy, Hussain Dalal, Sayani Gupta, Malhar Khushu, Kuljeet Singh & others. Directed by Shonali Bose, produced by Shonali, Nilesh Maniyar & Ishan Talkies, the film released on 17th April, 2015.
