In her post, she expressed gratitude for the resolution, stating, “Today Javed ji and I have resolved our legal matter (defamation case) through mediation. In the mediation, Javed ji has been very kind and gracious, he also agreed to write songs for my next directorial.”

The legal war between the two began in 2020 following an interview given by Kangana to a news channel after the tragic death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The alleged spat between Kangana and Hrithik in 2016 had already led to a legal dispute, with Hrithik seeking an apology from Kangana for public statements about their alleged relationship.
