Bollywood’s young star Shanaya Kapoor is ready to debut in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, starring opposite the extremely talented Vikrant Massey. The romantic drama based on Ruskin Bond’s popular short story The Eyes Have It has begun creating waves already with its melancholic music and poignant narrative. The second song of the film, Nazara, released a while back, is winning hearts with its emotional depth and minimalism.
‘Nazara’: A Sweet Ode to First Love
The Nazara song is a gentle peek into the emotional and innocent chemistry between the characters of Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor. The heartwarming love story between two visually impaired characters in the background, the song wonderfully captures the flutter of first love—stealing glances, gentle smiles, and understanding silences.
Written by Vishal Mishra, the song rings with profound emotion. Referring to his songwriting process, Mishra explained, “From the very first note, I wanted to compose a melody that feels like it’s always been there… ‘Nazara’ is a celebration of vulnerability, of the kind of love that catches you by surprise and lingers like a memory.” The lyrical perfection and soulful melody of the song have already touched hearts.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is a love story of two blind people who discover love not by sight but by emotion. Vikrant Massey portrays a blind man who keeps his disability a secret so that he will not be pitied, and Shanaya’s character finds himself on the same journey unexpectedly. The film explores perception, self-esteem, and emotional attachment.
